How can we know God?
The insights and practices provided by other faiths often open windows of understanding onto our own tradition. As we seek to share the genuinely expansive nature of Christianity we are reminded that all the great religions invite us beyond the chatter of the mind into Silence.
Our alternative services offer practices from different traditions to help us circumvent the roadblocks created by our minds that hinder our awakening.
All of these worship opportunities are free. A love offering is requested.
The Voice in Silence 
SECOND SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH
6:00 to 7:00 pm
In this powerful contemplative service,
Taizé-style chants, interfaith readings, music, and meditation invite you beyond the chatter of the mind into Silence.
Dances of Universal Peace
THIRD SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH
7:00 to 9:00 pm
Dances of Universal Peace are meditative, spiritual practices using the mantras of all world religions to promote peace.
Lily, Craig, Elizabeth, Gordon, and Sophie have moved their popular Friday evening dances to Saturdays to support our outreach as an Evolving Church. Many of you have participated in the Sufi, Hebrew, Buddhist, and Native dances during some of our church services.
Come open yourself to the Silence with gentle body movements. You don’t need to know anything. The dances are simple and are taught each time.
