Greetings!

I thought I would recap the kid/youth events of October and list the events coming up the rest of the year. 

October 7th:	Jason read the “Tom the Tamer” book to the children during services.  After church he did the Crop Walk along with several church members. Thanks to all of you who participated by walking or pledging.
October 21st:	Jason read a story during services and led Sunday School activities.
October 28th:	We collected Change for Change for UNICEF. In Sunday school we made Halloween crafts.
November 10th:	We didn’t get the rocks and boulders painted for the greenhouse on October 14th, so we will reschedule this activity for Saturday, November 10th. We will email the details before the 10th.
November 25th:	Change for Change will be collected to help purchase the ingredients for soup that will be served at the Holiday Bazaar. We will decorate the church for Christmas after coffee hour.  A simple soup and salad lunch will be provided to those who volunteer. If we have time, we will also help create swags for the Bazaar.
December 15th:	On this Saturday, the youth will decorate cookies (time to be announced). They will sell them by the pound the following morning during coffee hour.
December 22nd:	Dress rehearsal for Christmas pageant. (Time to be announced).
December 23rd:	During worship, the kids and youth will perform a Christmas pageant.
