November 2011

Thinking of Our Neighbors

The holidays are upon us and Thanksgiving is drawing near. The times are difficult for many of us but there are those who are struggling even harder to make ends meet.

Suquamish Church lends a hand by creating holiday baskets for families who are hungry.
(We get the names from Fishline of Kitsap County.)

On two Sundays — November 14th and 21st — we will collect cash donations for purchasing items that can be used to make Thanksgiving dinners.

Also on November 21st, we will collect extras to add to the baskets (see list below).

Volunteers will assemble baskets on November 22nd and 23rd starting at 9:00 am.

Call Claudia Fogle (297-3906) or Mary Eisenhardt (271-8111) if you want to help, or if you want to add a family to the list of recipients.
